BioI was born in California and grew up in Northern Idaho. I went to school at the University of Idaho, Moscow, where I studied art, music and theater. I dropped out to move to Seattle, Washington where I've lived for the past fifteen years. I worked in bookstores for several years, then later managed front offices of a large psychiatric clinic for six years. I'm currently living on Vashon, Washington in an old farm house owned by my partner. Besides gardening, I've been focusing my energy on writing.
